a dog's life

this is not a happy face. my baby has a bad ear infection and getting the stupid cream in her ear is somewhat of a battle. if she could talk at this moment i think she'd say 'screw you'

We flew into Reno and had a couple (4) hours to kill.

Our first full day there on our hike.

We went up to Squaw Valley. The olympics were held here in 1968. Pretty amazing.

From the top of the mountain. Pretty great, huh?


That is the death trap that we rode to get to the top of the mountain. Okay, it wasn't that bad. But it wasn't that great either.

we are home. tahoe is unbelievably beautiful.

i'm not really saving the world in 4 minutes, but i did hear the song 3 times today. went to arlington this past weekend to see family. good times. we leave very early tomorrow morning for vacation in the picturesque lake tahoe nevada. can. not. wait. this miserable heat is really getting to me.

i finally saw sex and the city movie. it gets two thumbs up.

wake me up when september comes

it's too hot outside. living one single summer in california spoiled me. i very easily forgot how miserable texas summers are. and i'm convinced san antonio is even worse than dallas. it's already hitting 100 degrees most days. most of my days are spent indoors, which stinks because being outside is where it's at.

so very tired. but i woke up to this face this morning.


who can be mad at that face?
